What are the features that distinguish Uption from other applications?

It is the first and only mobile application that can transfer money abroad 24/7 to name, account and card. For TRY, USD, and EUR accounts that you open in Uption, you can have unique IBANs. With the UPTION card, you can spend the money in your account in the amount of money you want all over the world. Using the Request Money by Message function, you can collect the costs of your joint expenses with your friends by sending a mass message to related people. It allows you to cash out your account in more than 170 countries via the app. With the Dynamic QR feature, you can create QR in TRY, USD and EUR currencies, pay and collect with the generated QR. You can install internet or talk packages on the phones of loved ones abroad. If you are a Turkish citizen, you can easily open an account in Europe and get an IBAN. You can receive European payments through that account and use the balance in your account directly in Turkey.

Şifreni unuttuysan giriş ekranındaki “Şifremi Unuttum” butonuna tıklayıp telefon numaranı girerek ve güvenlik sorunu yanıtlayarak yeni bir şifre oluşturabilirsin. Güvenlik sorunu hatırlamıyorsan “Güvenlik Sorumu Hatırlamıyorum” seçeneğini kullanabilir; Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşıysan kimliğini uygulama üzerinden taratıp NFC ile okutarak ve kısa bir yüz doğrulama videosu çekerek anında yeni şifre belirleyebilirsin, yabancı uyrukluysan kimliğini elinde tuttuğun bir fotoğraf yükleyerek talebinin müşteri hizmetlerimizce incelenmesini sağlayabilir, sonucunu uygulama içi bildirimlerden veya aynı ekrandan takip ederek şifreni yenileyebilirsin.

Telefon numaram değişti, ne yapabilirim?

Telefon numaran değiştiyse, uygulama giriş ekranındaki “Yardıma İhtiyacım Var” bölümünden “Telefon Numaram Değişti” seçeneğine tıklayarak yeni numaranı kaydedebilirsin. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşıysan NFC ile kimlik doğrulamanı gerçekleştirip, kısa bir yüz doğrulama videosu çekerek numaranı hızlıca güncelleyebilirsin; ardından yeni numaran ve mevcut şifrenle giriş yapabilirsin. Yabancı uyrukluysan kimliğini elinde tuttuğun net bir fotoğrafı yüklemen yeterli, talebin müşteri hizmetlerimiz tarafından incelenir ve onay bildirimi geldikten sonra yeni numaran ile UPTION’a giriş yapabilirsin. Eğer bildirim gelmezse veya süreci merak edersen tekrar “Telefon Numaram Değişti” butonuna tıklayarak talebinin durumunu öğrenebilirsin.

How can I become an UPTION customer?

If you wish, you can first log in to the UPTION application with just your phone number and create a password. Once you discover UPTION, you can switch to the verified account or unlimited account by opening your account. To switch to the verified account, simply press the “Activate IBANs” button on the UPTION homepage and have a Turkish Republic ID or Foreign ID number. By making EFT from your own bank account to your TL account, you can start trading right away. Our customers who have a verified account can process up to 250.000TL per month. Switching to an unlimited account is also very easy. You just need to read the required identification document into the application and shoot your face on video for the vitality test. The unlimited account does not require a bank account of its own and there is no monthly submission limit. Moreover, you have unlimited access to all the functions of UPTION. If you are a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, you can complete the process completely digitally in minutes. If your address cannot be confirmed, you may also be asked for an invoice, if you cannot provide an invoice, you must sign the “Customer Information Form” sent to your home. If you are a foreign national, you must complete the above documents and sign the “Customer Information Form” that comes with the courier to your home.

How do I download the UPTION app?

You can easily download the UPTION mobile app from the AppStore, Google Play or Huawei App Gallery (from phones with iOS or Android operating system). If you wish, you can also download the application using QR codes or links to help you download the application on the www.uption.com.tr website.

What are the requirements you need to have to become an UPTION customer?

Having a TCKN or YKN, being a resident of Turkey, Having a valid identity document or passport, Being over 18 years old, Having a mobile phone line.

How can I start using Uption?

You can start using the application by entering your mobile phone or email address and the password you set when you become a customer.

How many accounts can I open through the UPTION app?

Through the UPTION app, you can open a total of 3 accounts, 1 in TRY, EUR and USD currencies. If you are a Turkish citizen, you can also open a European account for free. The balance of this account will be shared with your EUR account. But you will have a separate IBAN number for Europe.

I have opened my UPTION account, how can I make a deposit?

You can deposit cash into your account through UPT Branches. You can fund your account via EFT or wire transfer using existing IBANs. You can deposit funds to your existing IBANs from all PTT Branches and ATMs. You can send EFT to your IBAN using the cardless transactions menu at Aktiv Bank, Vakıfbank and Finansbank ATMs in Turkey. With UPTION Card, you can load from all ATMs.

How will I be notified when there is an incoming/outgoing money transfer to my account?

UPTION Assistant allows you to receive instant notifications about your accounts from one or all of your accounts through the UPTION Assistant by defining the notification settings that match your preference in the “Communication preferences” section in the Profile section.

In which languages can I use the UPTION app?

You can use the application with Turkish, English, Russian and Arabic language support. You can receive statements for your accounts and receipts for your transactions in the language options specified.

My UPTION password has been lost, what should I do?

When you log in incorrectly three times in a row, your password is lost for security reasons. You can easily create your new password 24/7 by following the steps in the Password Receive Forgot function on the splash screen.

My mobile phone or email address has changed, what should I do?

You can change your email address in the UPTION app profile section under “My Profile Settings”. You can make further information updates by sending a request from UPT Branches or by sending a request to the email address uptinfo@upt.com.tr. You will be contacted after the request. You can access UPT Branch location information from within the app.

Poliçe ne kadar süre geçerlidir?

Poliçe süresi 1 yıl ile sınırlıdır. Bir yılın sonunda Türkiye'de ikamet etmeye devam edeceksen ve özel sigorta sahibi değilsen yabancı sağlık sigortanı güncelleyebilirsin.

Yabancı sağlık sigortası yaptırmak zorunlu mudur?

Türkiye'de kalmaya karar veren ve Türkiye'de bir yıldan fazla yaşamayı planlayan yabancılar, ikamet izni alabilmek için yabancı sağlık sigortası yaptırmak zorundadır.

Yabancı sağlık sigortası nedir?

Yabancı sağlık sigortası acil tıbbi müdahaleler, hastalık veya kaza durumlarında sağlık giderlerini karşılayarak, Türkiye'de ikamet eden yabancı uyruklu bir kişinin Türkiye'deki sağlık hizmetlerine erişimini güvence altına almayı amaçlar.

Krediye nasıl başvururum?

Ana menüden “Krediye Başvur” seçeneğine tıklayarak başvuruda bulunabilirisin. Sana özel kredi teklifinden faydalanabilir ya da “Tutarı kendim belirlemek istiyorum” adımından kredi tutarını ve taksit sayısını kendin belirleyebilirsin. Ödeme planını görüntüleyip onay verdiğin takdirde kredin anında UPTION hesabına yatacaktır.

MoneyGram ile Nasıl Para Gönderebilirim?

Ana sayfada yer alan "Gönder" butonuna tıkladıktan sonra açılan ekranda para göndermek istediğiniz ülkeyi seçebilirsiniz. "İsme Gönderim" seçeneğini tercih ettikten sonra aşağıda yer alan listeden ilgili ülkenin MoneyGram ile anlaşmalı olup olmadığını kontrol edebilirsiniz. Eğer MoneyGram listede yer alıyorsa, gerçekleştirdiğiniz isme transferler, o ülkedeki MoneyGram hizmet noktalarından referans numarası ile nakit olarak çekilebilir. MoneyGram’a gönderilen bir transferin iptal edilmesi durumunda transfer tutarı ve işleminize ait ücret hesabınıza iade edilir.

In what currencies can I send money?

You can send money in USD, EUR and many local currencies from TL, USD and EUR accounts.

Does the person to whom I send money need to have an Uption?

If you are only going to use our UPTION transfer feature, the other party must be an UPTION customer. When transferring abroad and within the country, the counterparty does not have to be an UPTION customer.

Can I send money by just giving the recipient name?

Yes, you can enter the recipient's first and last name information by selecting “send to name” when sending money. If you send the referral code that we will give you at the end of the transaction to the buyer, the buyer can receive his money from our more than 400 thousand service points.

Can I send money to my bank account?

Yes, it is possible for you to send money to bank accounts at home and abroad.

When will the money I send arrive?

The name arrives instantly if you submit. For shipments, the account arrives instantly (e.g. UK) or within days, depending on the country you're sending.

Which banks can I transfer money to a 24/7 account in USD and EUR to which banks in my country?

You can transfer money 24/7 to all USD and EUR accounts within Aktiv Bank A.Ş. and Vakıfbank A.Ş. We continue to work with other domestic banks to transfer EUR and USD 7/24.

How can I reach UPT Service Points?

At home; You can reach all PTT, Aktiv Bank Branches and UPT Representations from UPT Branches, Aktiv Bank Branches and UPT Representations abroad; from contracted banks and money transfer companies that mediate UPT transactions. From the UPTION Branch/Agent Display step, you can view the address information and locations of UPT's contracted points at home and abroad. In addition, when you complete the Overseas Transfer and Cash Check process, you can reach the agreed points in the country where you are transacting from the View Payment Points step.

What is my trading limit on Uption?

What actions can I do with the UPTION application?

With UPTION, you can send and receive money in different currencies to your account, credit card, name and mobile phone at home and abroad, as well as many other transaction options that will make your life easier. With UPTION Transfer, you can make free transfers to UPTION customers 24/7 in TRY, USD and EUR currencies. With Domestic Money Transfer, you can make EFT to your account and card or transfer money in USD/EUR to USD and EUR accounts in contracted domestic banks 24/7. With Money Transfer Abroad, you can transfer money to more than 160 countries around the world 24/7 to your name or account. With Transfer to a European Account, you can transfer money in EUR 7/24 to accounts with all banks and financial institutions in 40 countries covered by SEPA. You can easily get paid by opening an account in Europe. With the Receive Money to Account feature, you can receive money sent on your behalf from abroad to your UPTION account. With UPTION Card or virtual card, you can spend money in your account all over the World. You can connect your UPTION card to whatever you want from your TL; USD and EUR accounts and make changes at any time. With QR Payment/Collection, you can quickly generate QR codes in TL, USD and EUR currencies at any time, and you can easily collect them by sharing the QR code you created with third parties. Likewise, you can easily pay for QR codes created by UPTION customers by reading them from your phone's camera or selecting them from the gallery of QR codes shared with you. You can request money from your friends by sending a message with Ask for Money by Message, or you can request money from your friends in bulk by dividing the amount of a joint spend as you wish. You can quickly pay for Requesting Money by Message to you via the corresponding notification message with a single button. You can view messages and details of money requests you've made on past dates through the app. With a Cash Check, you can withdraw your money in cash by presenting your identity at all UPT points in the country and abroad. Where can I view the actions I have performed?

UPTION can display the last 5 transactions on the homepage. You can check all your movements by pressing the “All my movements” button. You can also access account movements in the desired date range from the My Accounts/Account Movements menu, view the receipts for transactions, if you wish, share the account statement and transaction receipt with third parties via channels such as WhatsApp and email. You can also view your actions from the Menu/Transaction History step, cancel pending ones.

How can I find out the exchange rate?

In UPTION you can view the exchange rates for transactions carried out by UPT 7/24 from the exchange rate section in the menu. You can also see the exchange rate applied at the time of the transaction when executing a transaction.

Where can I inquire about the status of my transaction?

Using the Where My Money feature, you can query the status of the money transfer you have sent or sent on behalf of you via UPTION 24/7 and see the current transaction status of the money.

Can I cancel a transaction via UPTION?

International Name Transfers, Cash Withdrawals and domestic money transfers can only be cancelled if they have not yet been withdrawn by the recipient. Actions eligible for cancellation are indicated by the “Hourglass” image in the “Transaction History” menu. In case of transaction cancellations, the amount of the charge received from you will also be refunded. The refund amount may vary due to the exchange rate difference caused by cancellations made with cross currency transactions.

How much do you charge for my transactions?

UPTION Transfer, Pay QR, Collect QR and Request Money by Message are free of charge. You can see the transaction fees for our other transactions at uption.com.tr/transact-ucretleri.

When will the money I deposited go into my account?

The amounts you deposit in cash from UPT branches will instantly cross your account. If you received payment from a different UPTION account, your money will be transferred to your account 24/7 instantly. Deposits to the account made from PTT Branches and ATMs will instantly transfer your money to the account. If you send money to your account with EFT, the corresponding amount will be transferred to your account within EFT hours.
